Terms of Service

By creating an account, signing up for a session, or organizing a session on PlayBadminton (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for any activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You must be old enough in your jurisdiction to enter into a contract, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

When you sign up for a session, you are entering an arrangement with the organizer of that session, not with PlayBadminton. Organizers set the price, location, format, cancellation rules, and any code of conduct for their sessions. You agree to follow them.

PlayBadminton is not the operator of badminton sessions, does not supply courts or equipment, and is not a party to disputes between players and organizers.

Organizer accounts may require a paid subscription to publish and manage sessions. Pricing, billing intervals, and included features are shown on the Pricing page and confirmed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your account.

As an organizer, you are solely responsible for your sessions: the accuracy of listings, court bookings, supervision, safety, compliance with local rules and any taxes due on payments you collect outside the platform. You agree to handle player personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never see or store your full card number. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or discriminate against others.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent session listings.
• Scrape, resell, or republish other users' personal information.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload the platform.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You retain ownership of session details, profile content, and messages you post. You grant PlayBadminton a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayBadminton will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. When we make material changes to the terms, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PlayBadminton operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law of your place of residence are not affected.
